The Acquired Brain Injury Branch operates two 1915(c) HCBS Medicaid waivers. These waivers provide assistance to adults with an acquired brain injury who want to live in the community as independently as possible.

​​The TBI Trust Fund was established to provide flexible funding and support to those with brain injuries. The fund supports supplemental community-based efforts to meet the special needs of each individual with a brain injury.

Cardinal Hill has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Disease-Specific Care Certification in brain injury rehabilitation.

You are not alone in facing the challenges of a brain injury. Cardinal Hill offers a free support group, guided by caring staff members who are there to listen, offer encouragement, and facilitate the program. This group is open to the public. They meet to socialize, share coping strategies and resources, and support each other.

To advance awareness, research, treatment, and education and to improve the quality of life for all people affected by brain injury.
